I know it's the right thing to do for my long-term health and piece of mind.

It says here that during a colonoscopy, the doctor will put a thin, flexible tube with a tiny camera on the end into the rectum and up through the colon.

So... you gonna get one of those colonoscopies there, or what? I just had one.

You did? So, what the heck was that like?

I gotta admit I felt nervous at first, but it was really pretty easy.

And what about the actual colonoscopy? What was that like? Did it hurt?

During the colonoscopy itself, they gave me a medicine that made me relax and feel a little sleepy. And then I didn't feel much of anything.

Really?

I asked the doctor when we were going to get started and he said that it was already over.
